- Stair Steppers

It study took place for over 4-weeks with 25 men and women, and it mainly compared three metrics: heart rate, exerted energy, and lactic acid build-up.
The treadmill was ranked no. 1 in the within the overall exercise machines. It used the most amount of energy among all the 25 participants and was able to produce the highest heart rate in most of the participants.
2. Stair Steppers
The stair stepper was ranked second. It was able to produce the most amount of lactic acid build up among the participants and was able to produce second highest heart rates after the treadmill.
3. Rowing Machines
It was found that the rowing machine required more energy than both exercise bikes (Air bike and Airdyne) and was successful in producing the most amount of lactic acid. That’s why it was ranked 3rd in the list.
4. Airdyne Bikes
The Airdyne spin bike didn’t performed well or we can say was not the best cardio machine among all the cardio machines, but it doesn’t mean it’s a bad workout. Airdyne bikes is considered a fairly complete workout since it engages most of the muscle groups. As you pedal, you can simultaneously push/pull with your arms, which can be really exhausting.
5TH on the list was the Assault Air Bikes, it was mainly because they don’t have the same dual-action capabilities like the airdyne bikes. You cannot target your upper body.
They’re still effective but you just have to focus on using them properly.
It can be a great way to lose weight because you can use them for HIIT training (high-intensity interval training) and lose a lot of calories.
Do check this article for more details about Assault Air Bikes.
Last but not the lease was the Ellipticals. They’re kind of a complete workout, as they engage your entire body (if done properly).
It’s very possible to lose weight on these things but losing weight is easier with the machines higher on this list.
